About Action Research Now! Online Symposium

The British Council invites school leaders and teachers from across the globe to join us for Action Research Now! 2024 – an online symposium showcasing research findings and practical take-aways from the British Council Partner Schools Actions Research programme 2023-24.  

Over the course of the past year, educators from 12 British Council Partner Schools across five countries have completed action research within their school communities. These educators are now ready to share their stories of school improvement with the wider education community to help drive innovation and development, and jointly improve the learning experience of students.

No, Action Research Now! is open to educators from any school. 

Where can I watch the recordings of sessions?

All sessions will be recorded and available on British Council Partner Schools Online Support for Schools platform – please note this platform is only accessible to educators working at British Council Partner Schools.

Will I receive a certificate for attending Action Research Now! event?

Anyone attending the event, one session at a minimum, will receive an Action Research Now! attendance certificate.

Can I get a copy of the presenter slides?

Where possible, a PDF version of the slides will be made available on British Council Partner Schools Online Support for Schools platform. In some cases, due to copyright, it may not be possible to provide a copy of the slides. Please note this platform is only accessible to educators working at British Council Partner Schools.
